Dr. Oetker Cheesecake Aid

Additional Ingredients: 1 Shortbread crust pastry base
250mL milk
750g Quark
4 egg white / 4 egg yolk
150g Sugar
1 Dr. Oetker packet of vanilla sugar
1 Dr. Oetker packet Finesse grated lemon peel
Directions:
1. Prepare the shortbread crust pastry base
2. Beat the egg whites with 1/3 of the sugar until very stiff
3. Mix the egg yolks with the remaining sugar, quark, vanilla sugar,
grated lemon peel and milk in a mixing bowl with the whisk
on the highest setting for 1 minute until smooth
4. Stir in the cheesecake aid and then fold in the beaten egg whites
5. Spread the cheese mixture in the mold onto the shortcrust pastry
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 70 minutes
(Position in the oven: lower third)
7. After baking, let the cake stand in the switched off oven for about 10 minutes
8. Loosen the springform pan but do not remove it and let the cake cool in the pan
on a cake rack
