Additional Ingredients: 100g soft margarine or butter
3 eggs
500g cold whipped cream
200mL warm water
500g quark
Springform pan (Ø 26cm)

Directions:
Prepare the dough and bake:
1. Place baking paper in the springform pan, preheat the oven
(top/bottom heat: around 170°C, hot air: around 150°C)
2. Put the dough baking mixture in a mixing bowl, add margarine or butter and eggs
3. Using a mixer (stirring rods) on the highest setting, process
into a smooth dough in about 3 minutes
4. Pour the dough into the springform pan, smooth it out and bake in the
bottom third of the oven for about 30 minutes
5. Loosen and remove the edge of the springform pan. Turn the cake out
onto a baking rack lined with baking paper and let it cool

Preparation of the cake base:
1. Remove the baking paper from the dough base and cut the cake in half horizontally
2. Place the bottom layer on a cake plate and place a cake ring around it

Filling:
1. Beat the cream until stiff
2. Pour the mixture for the filling into a mixing bowl, add warm water
and stir well with a whisk
3. Stir in the quark in portions, then fold in the cream
4. Spread the filling on the cake base
5. Place the top cake layer on top, press lightly and place in the refrigerator
for at least 2 hours
6. Before serving, loosen and remove the cake ring
7. Sprinkle cake with decorative sugar
