The name "Halma" comes from Old Greek and means "jump". Players try to identify and form long chains allowing their pieces to leapfrog as far across the board as possible. At the same time, players try to block their opponents' progress. This classic game version has 66 wooden Halma pieces and offers 24 rule variations for hours of fun. Halma is the German version of Chinese Checkers.
